Dear Colleagues and Business Partners,
I have the honor and privilege to address and deliver our message on behalf of TATC members (Turkish American Tourism Council) from Turkey to you all.
We bring the warm and sincere feelings and pass on to you the love and respect of Turkish People to US people.
We have come here as a team of tour operators and hoteliers to further develop existing bilateral ties and serve to the needs and expectations of US market in every possible aspect with our goodwill, initiation and expertise; especially in the field of tourism and culture.
I would like to express my warm thanks and sincere appreciation to the members of TATC (Turkish American Tourism Council) in creating and putting it into full charge as a dynamic Council for US market, and to The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey for their continuous support and Turkish Airlines for their provision of services as the National Carrier for Turkey.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Our USA Colleagues and Business Partners and re-affirm that we appreciate their efforts in promoting Turkey and boosting bilateral activities in travel and tourism sector.
Turkey may not be as large as USA in terms of land or population. However, Turkey has been the land at the crossroads of various civilizations, cultures, kingdoms and empires under the name of Anatolia (Asia Minor) in her long history over 14,000 years. We have a lot to offer and show to you that will be remembered life long!
With this understanding, we should see TATC for all of us as a guideline in order to develop and accomplish our main mission jointly to higher and more successful horizons in travel and tourism between USA and Turkey. TATC members are ready here and expecting with keen interest and mutual cooperation to increase the volume of business in Leisure Travel, Pilgrimage, Incentives, MICE, FIT and GIT programs and also as a new destination in Wedding and Honeymoon arrangements.
THY, National Carrier of Turkey, has launched many new and more flights from New York, Washington, Chicago and Los Angels as well as Toronto from Canada. We also wish to emphasize that our US clients do not go through long procedures for visa. All they have to do is pay $20.00 at the port of entry before immigration and that is all!
