The triangle between Nevsehir, Nigde Aksaray is called Cappadocia and is located in the south of Ankara .The word of "Cappadocia" inherited from Persians, means Land of Beautiful Horses.

This region has been always been important for all ruling empires of Anatolia. 

Goreme National Park and the rock sites of Cappadocia were inscribed on the list of World Heritage Sites as a mixed property of both cultural and natural significance in 1985.
